  • To avoid framing your watercolor, paint the sides of a canvas  or wood panel and glue your watercolor paper to the front of the canvas/panel.
  • To paint a realistic small branch, sharpen the end of a round. paintbrush or chopstick in a pencil sharpener
  • To create the perfect drip effect, use high-flow acrylics and spray areas with alcohol and water.
  • To flatten a water-based painting, iron the backslide with a steam iron.
