The Port Ludlow Art League welcomes pastel artist, Susanna Baker, as the speaker for their June Program Meeting. Art enthusiasts and aspiring painters are invited to an immersive experience with local pastel artist and Northwest Pastel Society member, Susanna, who will showcase the luminous world of pastels. Susanna’s presentation, featuring a live demonstration and an exhibit of her finished works, hopes to demystify the pastel medium and encourage creativity. Pastels are not quite painting, not quite drawing, but a unique medium offering unparalleled color vibrancy. Susanna will demonstrate a simple, step-by-step landscape. Attendees will receive a small sheet of pastel paper and sample pastels to try their hand at the medium. Guests are welcome to attend for a $5 fee.
