Kevin Hall Online Art Show
April Artist of the Month
We live in a world of color, but color-saturated photographs can often distract the eye because there’s simply too much information. By choosing black and white photography, accomplished photographer Kevin Hall wants to give viewers the opportunity to interpret the main focus of his photographs.
The Portraits in Black & White art exhibit at the Sound Community Bank features Kevin’s focus on light and dark imagery. Kevin stated, “Elliott Erwitt once said, ‘Color is descriptive. Black and White is interpretive.’ You’re invited to interpret my art exhibit to determine if Erwitt knew what he was talking about.”
A reception for the Kevin is set for 4 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 10th at the bank and 5 to 6 p.m. at Port Ludlow Art League gallery. The bank and gallery are located at 9500 Oak Bay Road in Port Ludlow.
