Amy’s current medium is watercolor on hot press paper. She uses pastels to enhance certain areas and sometimes adds a layer of opaque acrylic shapes for an interesting effect. Amy states “I let the paint and my whims show me the way. It’s fascinating to watch how colors interact with patterns and rhythms.”

Her inspiration comes from nature, weather, and from things that catches her eye. She also finds images in dreams and responds to her feelings about things happening in the world.
