Photographer Alan Ahtow has a flare for images that tell a story and strike a chord with the observer. Alan’s photos have won several First Class ribbons, the Special Paul Conkin award, and the Documentary Photo Image award.

“One of the exercises I perform when exploring a possible subject for a photograph is to examine it through the lens from various angles, positions, and heights. I often take multiple shots to approach the subject from different perspectives and hope to find the photo that I like the best.”
