Sue Wahlgren Online Art Show
Known locally as the original owner of Summer House in Port Townsend, Sue Wahlgren has worked her love for vintage and natural finds into assemblages that tell a story. Like the artist herself, her assemblages are intended to be a bit mind-bending, humorous, and fun.
“I start with an artifact that sparks an idea, then I continue to add elements selected for color, texture and a dynamic design, and a story naturally evolves.” Sue is working on pieces that are intended to be interactive. She especially enjoys commission work that allows her to “dig into someone else’s life, and play with their toys.” Sue’s Etsy store, HappyMemoriesArt@etsy.com is in the works.
This February, Sue’s artwork will be on display at the Port Ludlow Sound Community Bank. The bank is located at the corner of Oak Bay Road and Osprey Ridge Drive in Port Ludlow. If you’d like to purchase her artwork, please email info@portludlowart.org to make a sales appointment.
